Have you ever given a person a task to do and after a while come to the conclusion that in and of themselves this task would never get completed?

So what did you do?

Either you assisted them or you sent help.

The task was finished through the sacrifice of yourself or an other.

And the person whose task it originally was still got credit for being a finisher.

That’s how we ought to look at salvation.

Notice I didn’t say the original person stopped working and the person sacrificing took over.

Jesus steps into our heart and helps us to do what we couldn’t do on our own.

Through obedience we allow him to order our steps to finish well here in the earth.
