Welcome to Perpetual Praise Worship Center’s Kenya Missions page. As we strive to build People of Purpose, Power and True Worship, PPWC has once again partnered with the Caroline Wambui Mungai Foundation (CWMF) to help raise funds for the care of children orphaned in Nairobi, Kenya.

CWMF is a 501(C) 3 non-profit charitable organization with a mission to make a lasting impact on the lives of orphans and street children. With the help of generous friends like you, children receive complete care and education. With that said, we are inviting you to help us to continue meeting the needs of the 42 children in the CWMF Home in Wangige, Kenya.

As you may already know, many children are orphaned in Kenya as a result of AIDS and poverty induced diseases, and because of that they need our help.  Today’s tough economic conditions make it difficult for organizations like CWMF to meet those needs without people like us. That is why we are so excited to be able to personally hand deliver aid, volunteer at the children’s home, and make a spiritual impact in the children’s lives and our own.  Many of the children at the home come from Nairobi’s notorious slums and were previously street children, and some of which suffer with AIDS or other challenges.

In March 2009, Pastor William Binion headed a ten-member team and traveled to Wangige, Kenya.  After seeing first hand the needs of the children at the orphanage, a deep burden was placed in their hearts to make a difference. Pastor Binion along with PPWC and friends has since committed to the shared responsibilities of the orphanages’ up keep and development.

In the last 4 years, CWMF along with PPWC and Friends such as you have:

  1. Built a dinning hall;
  2. Built additional classrooms;
  3. Completed building the second floor of the residential facility;
  4. Built a playground; and
  5. Built a Bio Chemical Plant to produce natural gas.

In order to complete the renovation for the growing school, CWMF recently started the construction for the exterior of the classrooms and dorms. We have committed to raise above $15,000 before March 1, 2014, to assist them in completing the renovation and the purchasing of additional agricultural equipment during our 2014 mission trip.

In addition to our financial goal for 2014 we plan to travel back to Kenya with a minimum of 10 members to complete our missions team, and are hoping you will become one. All you need is a heart for missions and willingness to participate fully in the preparation and execution of this mission.

Thank you very much for your prayerful consideration. Your donations are fully tax-deductible.
